Promise & eligibility

Semi-permanent, planned in writing before a needle is opened

Cosmetic tattoo suits clients who want defined brows, lips or eyeliner without daily makeup, and who accept a documented two-stage process: the first session, then a touch-up at 6 to 8 weeks.

Who it suits

  • Brows that look sparse or uneven after years of plucking, and shapes that need correcting.
  • A pale or fading lip contour that needs a soft, defined edge.
  • Eyeliner that smudges by midday, including lash-line enhancement.
  • Skin fully healed after acne, illness or surgery, with no active flare-up.

When we postpone

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding, and within six months of isotretinoin.
  • Active infection, open lesions, keloid tendency or uncontrolled diabetes.
  • Recent sun exposure, chemical peel or laser on the treatment area.

We do not guarantee an outcome. Colour retention varies with skin type, lifestyle and aftercare, so a second session is part of the normal plan rather than a correction.

02Consultation method

Three steps before a single cartridge is opened

Every booking starts with an individual design consultation. Nothing is drawn on skin and no pigment is mixed until the plan is written down and agreed.

  1. 01

    Mapping

Brow, lip and liner proportions are measured against your bone structure and existing pigment, then sketched in pencil so you can check the shape in a mirror before anything is agreed.

  2. 02

    Written plan

You leave with the technique, pigment family, healing time and touch-up window in writing, plus the expected retention range: 12 to 18 months for brows, 18 to 24 months for lips.

  3. 03

    Patch test and consent

A patch test is scheduled at least 48 hours before the appointment. The consent record is signed and filed beside the matching entry in the disinfection log.

Hygiene protocol

Four documented steps behind every appointment

Each stage below is written into the appointment record before the first needle is opened. You may ask to see the log for your own session ahead of the procedure.

  1. Single-use cartridges opened in front of you

Cartridges arrive sealed and sterile and are opened at the start of the procedure. Nothing is reused between clients, and the packaging stays with your file.

Verified on the day · logged per appointment

  2. Disinfection logs with a dated entry

Work surfaces, lamps and tools are disinfected between clients, and the entry is dated and initialled. The current log is kept at reception.

Verified daily · last audit February 2025

  3. Patch test 48 hours before the first session

A small pigment patch test is placed and checked 48 hours later, so a reaction is caught before any full procedure is booked.

Verified 48 h before · result noted in your file

  4. Signed consent and aftercare record

Consent and aftercare requirements are explained and signed before we begin. You leave with a copy of both documents.

Artist evidence

Credential, portfolio captions and consent on file

Our artist works only on cosmetic tattoo: brows, lips and eyeliner. Every published case is captioned with the technique used, the healing stage it was photographed at, and whether the 6 to 8 week touch-up has already taken place.

  1. 01

    Practising since 2016

Certified in brow, lip and eyeliner micropigmentation, with annual refresher training on pigment selection and skin assessment.

  2. 02

    Captions instead of claims

Each caption names the technique, the number of sessions and the retouch status. We do not publish edited comparisons or guaranteed outcomes.

  3. 03

Consent dated before the first pass

Written consent and a patch test are signed and dated before the procedure. Clients may request a copy of their own record at any time.

Cosmetic tattoo is semi-permanent: brows typically hold 12 to 18 months, lips and eyeliner 18 to 24 months. Results vary with skin type, lifestyle and aftercare, so the consultation is where suitability is confirmed.
